Beit Al Qur'an Islamic Art Center

This multi-use attraction is a stunning complex. Housing one of the finest collections of Islamic art in the world, you can also view rare manuscripts, Qurans, and spectacular calligraphy. Highlights include engraved grains of rice from the 14th century. A museum features impressive exhibit halls filled with documents and pottery, while a library offers access to over 50,000 books. On site there is also an auditorium for events and an Islamic studies center.

What exhibits can I see in the museum?
With ten exhibit halls, there is a lot to experience here. You will find rare Qur'anic manuscripts, including some from Mecca and Medina as well as the oldest translated copy in the world dating back to 955 AD. There is also beautiful gold and copper pottery from across the Middle East on display.
Is the library open to the public?
There are over 50,000 books in the library in French, Arabic, and English with a focus on Islam. The library is open to all visitors during regular hours, and there is also a reading room and Internet access available on site. Researchers have special access to individual study rooms.
